There are a million design decisions you have to make in order to tackle a major home renovation or new build project, and Amber’s signature Picture Perfect Process makes it stress free, and FUN! The goal is to get to know you on a deeper level- this is more than finding out your favorite and least favorite colors. Amber has created a unique, interactive interior design process (including a Polaroid camera!) which yields highly personalized spaces that speak OF you and speak TO you.
The Picture Perfect Process is a 5 Act Production:
Act 1: The Storyboard
We gather information about your project, goals, lifestyle, personality, needs, desires, and more. There will be a measurement and picture day scheduled, you’ll share your inspiration photos, and you’ll fill out an in-depth questionnaire so Amber can get to know you. And “The Photo Assignment” takes getting to know you one step further- you’ll receive a beautiful box in the mail containing a Polaroid camera and film- the rest will be explained in the Welcome Document Amber will send you when you sign on for a project. Get ready for some fun!
Act 2: The Table Read
Also known as the Conceptual Design Phase, during this time Amber gets to work crafting a design concept for you. Initial space planning, floor plans, and aesthetic direction are presented at The Table Read Meeting- the culmination of this phase.
Act 3. The Dress Rehearsal
Once we’ve greenlit the floor plans and aesthetic direction, every piece of furniture, every finish, fixture, custom built-in, etc will be selected, designed, and priced out, resulting in a Detailed Design Meeting where you will be able to visualize your space with mood boards, to-scale floor plans, elevations, and renderings!
Act 4: From Script to Stage
This is Amber's fancy performing-arts-loving way of saying that ADI will procure, order, track, receive, store, and coordinate delivery of everything you need to furnish your home and finish your interior design project!
Act 5: Final Curtain Call
Get ready for the big reveal! Amber coordinates the delivery and installation of everything and finishes off your space to styled perfection!
